Sam Koff is a trumpeter, producer, and teacher out of Richmond, Virginia. He is a member the bands No BS! Brass and Pay Rent Brass Band and has toured with Sufjan Stevens. Sam has also produced music for McKinley Dixon, the Show by Round Two and his own project, Tanook33. Sam’s performances have included venues such as Red Rocks, Coachella, the Kennedy Center, Lincoln Center, NPR's Tiny Desk, MUPA Budapest, the Hollywood Bowl, Music Tastes Good, the Montreal Jazz Festival, and many more. He also regularly plays with Brunswick, R4ND4ZZO BIG B4ND, East Coast Affair, Redrum, the Sticky Situation, and has shared the stage with notable bands such as Everything, Lucy Dacus, Bon Iver, and the Shins. Sam holds a degree from Virginia Commonwealth University in Music Performance.
